I think I'd try Daisy's suggestion and just try typing with one claw.

I love my crackberry. I dictate to Fiona Bun. She has smaller paws.
Maybe it has predictive text? It might be telepathic so I say try thinking what you want it to say, then stare at a human, and it might work.
